Batambil's artworks can be purchased direct from the artist. Also from Buku Larrngay Mulka at Yirrkala and other community-owned arts centre in Arnhem Land.

It is estimated that to develop production facilities to a first phase of development would cost approximately $30,000. This would allow a slab to be poured, a permanent roof to be erected and some other minimum facilities to be established.

Coaching, Mentoring and Training Services

CMT Services has developed a strong methodology for Indigenous employment which is summarised in the chart opposite.

CMT Services has conducted numerous surveys within the Nhulunbuy region to gauge interest in the program. There have been encouraging responses and success to date.

Three Nhulunbuy businesses have already participated in the Cultural Connections Program.

Gary Dhurrkay Academy

Gary Dhurrkay (4 March 1974 - 21 August 2005) was an inspiring Indigenous Australian rules football player. He remains a hero and role model for the Yolngu people. Gary was inspired by his parents and family. He ventured out into the world but never forgot his roots or his people.

The Shine Training Restaurant

The Shine Training Restaurant, will be situated in the town of Sarina in Central Queensland. The concept behind The Shine Training Restaurant, came from my own desire to have a successful small business and to give opportunities to my local indigenous population that were severely lacking. I am a proud indigenous male and I want to give my deadly brothers and sisters, the chance to do something that gives them some self-esteem and self-belief, something they have been told for many years they aren't allowed to have.

Ngarda* Civil & Mining

Ngarda* is the Yindjibarndi word for Aboriginal people.

Ngarda Civil & Mining is the acknowledged industry leader in Indigenous employment in the Australian mining industry. It has a workforce of 168, 85 per cent of whom are Indigenous people. The company currently has 6 apprentices, 47 trainees and 2 Academy based trainees. There are 27 Indigenous personnel completing Certificate III in Metalliferous Mining Operations.

<i>Juluwarlu</i> is an Indigenous corporation formed via the Commonwealth Aboriginal Associations Act of 1976. We employ 18 local people on a full-time basis, 15 of whom are Indigenous.<p>

Centrefarm Aboriginal Horticulture Ltd

In recent years horticulture has emerged as an important new industry in Central Australia with the potential to provide significant economic and employment opportunities for Aboriginal landowners. <p>
The current industry focus is on production of early maturing table grapes however research by NT Departments responsible for primary industries (DPIFM) has identified citrus, mangoes, tomatoes, asparagus, dates and other commercial crops suitable also.<P>

Dinkum Tough Ducks

Manufacture of craft suitable for use by yachties and recreational fishermen. Using composite products we have been able to replicate the traditional rubber duck in a product that is unsinkable, has durability and is user friendly.

Through Gumbudda CDEP Aboriginal Corporation Aboriginal long term unemployed people were given the opportunity to work with a local boat builder. While hosted with this employer they learnt the skills required to build small craft.

Girroo Gurrll Mija Aboriginal Experience

The project involves the following activities:

<li>horse trail tours interpreted by local traditional custodians of the story places; <li>guided walking track tours with interpretation of rainforest flora and fauna specialising in the language names and traditional methods still practiced today;
<li>kiosk and traditional arts & crafts shop.</ul><p>
