A major statement was delivered to the PM yesterday and is being supported by others , The Yolŋu Makarr Dhuni, an assembly of eight [Aboriginal]nations in the Western, Central and East Arnhem Land areas of the Northern Territory, have released a statement rejecting the Federal Governments Stronger Futures legislation I sincerely hope the Australian Government hears what the Yolŋu Nations are saying to them. They [the Senate & Government ]need to throw out this flawed legislation and instead commit to real partnership with Aboriginal peoples to develop sustainable solutions. Graeme Mundine, ACM Sydney
