The BAMA ISX has been supporting the economic, social and cultural development of Aboriginal people since 2003. During that time we have supported over 1000 Aboriginal enterprises. Our work has focused on projects in regions where we have strong friendships and associations. We maintain long relationships and support project development over many years. The ISX supports independence for Aboriginal businesses but we also aim to be the first point of call for support and development if needed. The work of creating Aboriginal businesses often involves developing expertise and experience and the ISX has become increasingly involved in supporting educational and trainding experiences for Aboriginal young people. We want to give Aboriginal young people a diversity of experience across many different school, social and institutional environments.
Donations to the BAMA ISX help us keep our infrastructure and support alive. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Donations help us to keep our core infrastructure and services afloat. Our principal core cost is our web based services which work on a budget of $5000 per annum. These services allow us to raise funds through crowd funding campaigns for Aboriginal enterprises across Australia. The ISX has always prided itself on our low overheads and running costs. Our endeavour is to ensure that 99c out of every dollar goes directly to Aboriginal enterprises.
