Yawuru Latest Listings

The Yawuru Trading Floor has attracted a record number of 33 listings. Now the job begins to create the discussion, support and financial investment in these enterprises. Please check the latest schedule of events in Broome for next Wednesday's trading floor.

The Yawuru Trading Floor has attracted a record number of 33 listings and they keep coming.

How now does the ISX support these enterprises? The trading floor involves a four stage process: 1) the enterprise is listed on the ISX website; 2) a presentation is given at the trading floor of no longer than 15 minutes; 3) the presentors and supporters of the business join a video conference discussion to discuss in detail their proposals and ideas with potential investors and mentors; 4) detailed discussions begin and the real nub of a deal is made, often this days, weeks or months to transpire.

In some cases funding will be available on the floor of the trading floor. In other cases it will take longer more detailed discussions before the investment will be made. After each trading floor the webcast of the presentation for each enterprise will be placed on to the isx site sthat prospective investors can take a look at the ideas.

The ISX is not a guarantee of investment. The ISX is the platform, winning the investment is part of the process that falls to the individuals behind the business. We want to create Indigenous businesses that will succeed and so the discipline of persuading investors and convincing others that your idea has substance is part of the process of finally getting a winning business in place. Of course the ISX will continue to support the development of businesses that do no succeed on their first presentation.
