Fitzroy XPress win Deadly Award
"Home Sweet Home" Album release of the year

The Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House came alive on Thursday 22 September 2005 for the 11th annual National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music, sport, entertainment and community awards - The Deadlys.
Popular Kimberley Band "Fitzroy XPress" who have been performing their catchy country tunes for the past 20 years took the 2005 Deadly Award for "Album Release of the Year" for their latest album "Home Sweet Home".
Fitzroy XPress can be seen making regular performances at the Goolarri Outdoor Venue and the Gimme Gimme Club in Broome to a receptive and excited audience of both locals and visitors.
After becoming Kimberley icons, Fitzroy XPress have shown they are still in great form with the recent successful release of "Home Sweet Home" and now a Deadly Award to recognise their great achievement. CONGRATULATIONS.
