Support for Micro Loans on Dampier Peninsula

Dampier Indigenous Tourism Operators Support Micro Financing

At their meeting at Lombadina on 22 June 2004 Dampier Peninsula Tourism Operators called for the development of micro-loans to support regional initiatives.

At their regular meeting, Dampier Peninsula Indigenous Tourism Operators called for the development of more micro loans to support regional iniatives and the concept of a regional tourism incubator. The Dampier Peninsula Group is now looking to Mamabulanjin to work with the ISX to develop micro-financing for cultural tourism operators. A micro-business loan can range from 10 to 25k.
