Umeewarra Media provides a service that allows us to share our cultures and we work hard to keep cultures and language strong.
We also share important information for the Aboriginal community and keep everyone informed on issues that relate to our community in todays society.
We believe it is vital to keep a strong voice in the media.
Port Augusta where Umeewarra Media is based has over 35 different language groups in our Aboriginal community this means we are in the perfect place to promote all of these different languages and cultures.
The work we do is vital to the health and wellbeing of our community. Our radio station helps to close the gap in so many ways.
We also do much to assist the Reconciliation process as we raise awareness with our non-Aboriginal listeners and break down the barriers in our community
