Descendance is Australia's leading international cultural dance Export having toured 18 countries, with a permanent residency at The Red Centre Resort in Alice Springs the world wide demand continues to increase.
Descendance operates as an independent organisation with no board just a manager and 4 indigenous cultural directors, so it does not get bogged down with politics and moves fast and does not miss any opportunities, the dance authority comes from the Yidinji and Kandju people of North Queensland, there are over 30 dancers working daily in Alice Springs, Sydney and overseas all year around, this is a new infa structure for dance but is working well and creating plenty of indigenous jobs.
