This established indigenous corporation provides a range of legal advice and services to their clients throughout regional Western Australia. Due to growth and an internal promotion the organisation is currently seeking an experienced lawyer to join their friendly and highly skilled team.
You will work with a small team of lawyers and will be responsible for the conduct of native title claims, from taking initial instructions through to the management of the process, including mediations and conduct in court, through to final settlement stage. At times you will be involved in complex negotiations, will represent the organisation externally and establish relationships with key parties involved in the legal process.
A minimum of 3 years PAE in general litigation and resources law, as well as a strong understanding of Native Title and Mining law legislation will ensure your success. An exceptional communicator, you will require a strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
