Paid Positions
Prison Officers
Closing date: 00 December 2008
Region:
Attached are ads for the latest recruitment drive top Aborignal people involved in becoming Prison officers. There is a particular interest as a new prison will be built in Derby within the next 5 years. Broome and Roebourne in particluar could benefit from having more Aboriginal people but this also includes the other prisons throughout the State.
If you know anyone that might be interested please pass this on. The positions are permanent and allow countryman to stay in their areas. Pay rates are about 50 - 60 K per annum. Can be higher depending on overtime.
If people have criminal records that involve minor issues (not murder etc) and are not recent, this will not preclude them.
Cheers and I hope all had a good festive season
