Paid PositionsIndigenous Environmental TraineeshipsClosing date: 11 January 2009Region: West Australia - Pilbara The Weeli Wolli Creek Co-Management Board in conjunction with Rio Tinto Iron Ore and the Department of Agriculture has created an opportunity for four Indigenous Environmental Traineeships to be offered a one year Traineeship to the Nyiyaparli and Martu Idja Banyjima groups (1 male and 1 female from each group 4 in total of any age) at the Rio Tinto Iron Ore Hope Downs Mine Site and Weeli Wolli Creek and its environs. The successful Trainees will gain a Certificate 2 in Conservation and Land Management. They may then progress in further qualifications in Conservation and Land Management.
