Most of the community facilitator positions created as part of the Murdi Paaki Partnership Project have been readvertised, including jobs at Broken Hill, Wilcannia and Ivanhoe.

The Federal Government is providing $2 million to employ the facilitators for two years to help tackle problems facing Aboriginal communities in western New South Wales.

It will liaise with businesses, councils and other Aboriginal groups and two appointments have been made but six positions are yet to be filled.
