That's a cracker! On our Pilbara coast we have pretty much all the things on your list, and would welcome the opportunity to organically grow a similiar organisation (partnership or JV) over here. In our case we have the Business Partners, Enterprise Development and Finance in the bag.

Our slighly different vehicle to put to use our considerable diesel and other assets (we have a grader and tilt tray - and land, and much more) we are building the Red Dirt Driving Academy. Outside the self-evident push to get our mob licenced - and our young people skilled up to 'pimp their red-dirt rides' - and maybe participate in the boom, adding recycling a la Iron Rock is a planner's dream. We have some gargantuan scrap metal over here. Thank you for the solid groundwork.

We are a very long away, but if we can offer more support for this well resolved economic bush smarts, it would be a pleasure. Please keep us informed.

You'll get your funding.

Regards

"one mans shit is another mans gold"

This is one of the best ideas for an indigenous business I have seen. You guys could establish a commission based branch in every Cape York community, to encourage the disposal of dead mataka's and other recylceables instead of simply chucking them into landfills or piling it up at the local tip. Long before we became wise about recycling and understood the lucrative nature of re-using resources, millions of tons of old car bodies and other metals worth lots of dollars have been buried all over Australia. Recycling is a real enterprise and has a long life ahead, I wish you the very best. Lew
