Presented by Michael Bonner a Yanyuwa man from Borroloola, NT studying at Flinders. Michael is currently involved in directing, screenwriting and cinematography on a variety of film projects with Aboriginal communities in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The seminar will be chaired by Associate Professor, Tracey Bunda, Coordinator of Teaching, Yunggorendi. Tracey is the daughter of a serviceman of 25 years and WW2 veteran.

Mabo Day celebrates the historic High Court win on 3 June 1992 by Eddie Koiki Mabo on behalf of the Meriam people of Mer Island in the Torres Strait - which overturned the doctrine of 'terra nullius' and led to the recognition of native title rights.
