Noomool is the first collaboration between the ISX and Pozible - the Melbourne based crowdfunding group. Please support this project. We seek funding for no ordinary documentary. It is a fight to build awareness about the importance of the incredible pristine environment of the King Sound and a culture in danger of being lost. By investing in this project you are investing in the preservation of this incredible natural environment and the spirit of the Mayala people.

THE BLANK PAGE SUMMIT: Hard Yarn No More Muckin Around

Date:  26 July 2010 - 30 July 2010
Type:  Conference
Location:  Billard Community Centre
RSVP:  http://blankpagesummit.com.au/news/applications-are-open-for-blank-page-summit-hard-yarn-2010/

The Blank Page Summit Hard Yarn came from what we got to the bottom of through the Blank Page Summit on Suicide that we held last year at Billard. What we found out is that we need to step up if we're going to have better lives. All the money and programs and planning in the world won't make too much difference if we don't have a real hard look at things like what causes 'slow suicide', how we can look after ourselves better and what it means to be a family.

On behalf of Billard Learning Centre and our community, I'm really pleased to let you know about the Blank Page Summit Hard Yarn. It's coming up in July this year at Billard.

My daughter Mary Victor O'Reeri goes into all this in her Welcome Message on our website. We set it up so you can have a good read up on everything there and find out all the main things about what we've been up to at Billard and what you need to know about the Hard Yarn Summit.

If you like to just click on the logo, you'll end up at the website www.blankpagesummit.com.au [www.blankpagesummit.com.au] .

If any of you would like to put your hand up to join this year's Blank Page Summit Hard Yarn, you can take it from me that it'll be pretty good and we'll all be learning quite a bit. We make things pretty comfy for everyone who comes and they all got no worries with anything including the food and all that.

It'll be a pretty good idea if you don't leave it too long to fill in your Summit Application Form there's already quite a few people asking to come. It closes off by 30th April because we need time to get things ready for everyone.

Stephen Victor Snr here from Billard Aboriginal Community on the Dampier Peninsula, in the remote north-west Kimberley region of WA.

If you got any questions, we'll be right to answer them for you if you send us an email to Billard Learning Centre
